Thinking Of Becoming A Foster?
As a foster you will provide our dogs temporary loving homes including behavioral training and socialization. Some of the training includes housebreaking, leash walking and basic obedience. We also rescue special needs dogs who require specialized rehabilitation, please let us know if you would be interested in this specific area of fostering.
What is Dog World Rescue?
Dog World is a foster based rescue. We currently do not operate a shelter or sanctuary. All of our dogs are cared for by our dedicated group of foster families.
How many dogs can you foster?
We are limited to the number of dogs we can rescue by the number of available foster homes. Each and every foster home saves lives so please consider becoming a foster family today!
How long will I foster a dog?
The amount of time per dog in foster care varies from just a couple of days to several months
How do I find out more about fostering a dog?
A foster coordinator will follow-up with your application to answer any questions. Our fosters are given full support and training throughout the foster period.
WANT TO VOLUNTEER
Volunteering at Dog World Rescue is a rewarding way to make a real difference for dogs in need. You get to be part of their journey—from offering love and care to helping them feel safe and confident. Along the way, you’ll gain valuable skills, connect with fellow animal lovers, and enjoy the physical and emotional benefits that come from spending time with these loving animals. Plus, your efforts inspire others to consider adoption and support animal welfare. Every hour you give helps these dogs find the forever homes they deserve, and that’s an amazing feeling.

I absolutely and whole heartedly recommend Dog World Rescue. They love the dogs that they rescue and make sure to place them with families that are a great fit for everyone involved. When you adopt from DWR you become a part of an amazing community of people who spread kindness and love, one pup at a time.

Breshkie is incredibly knowledgeable, completely dedicated and a total animal advocate. She keeps the best interest of her rescues in mind when finding the perfect forever home. The right placement is more important than a quick placement. We adopted our girls over a year ago and are still in touch with DWR and Breshkie for advice and friendship. Absolutely the best!!!
